Ellen Dean M.S., LPC-S, LMFT-S, CBC
Ellen Dean has a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University in Family Relations/ Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Women’s University. Ellen is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor (LPC-S) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Supervisor (LMFT-S) with the state of Texas. Ellen has four Biblical Counseling Certifications.
Ellen had a private practice for 25 years. She closed her office in 2021, so she and Bob could counsel together as a couple. Now they do Marriage Intensives and Premarital Counseling together.

Premarital Counseling
Ellen and Bob do premarital counseling seeing a couple together. She is listed with the state of Texas in the "Twogether in Texas" Program that allows for a couple to get a discount on the marriage license when they complete 8 hours of premarital counseling. Ellen is certified in the Prepare/Enrich Curriculum and she is also a certified SYMBIS Facilitator.
Ellen has been married to Dr. Bob Dean since 1974. They have two grown married children and one precious grandson. Bob was a pastor for 28 years. Then he was the Executive Director of the Dallas Baptist Association from 2006 to 2021.
