Ellen Dean, M.S., LPC-S, LMFT-S, CBC

Ellen Dean is the Director and Counselor at Biblical Counseling and Ministries.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor (LPC-S).  She is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Supervisor (LMFT-S). Ellen has four Biblical Counseling Certifications.

Everyone faces struggles and difficulties at times. There are blessings and benefits from reaching out for practical, godly and Biblical counseling.  Counseling can offer an objective perspective and provide encouragement and guidance through trying and discouraging times.  

Counseling is available for individuals, couples and families.  Group counseling is offered on an assortment of topics and common issues. Marriage Intensives are available with multi hour time periods.  Premarital counseling is available and will help with a discount on the marriage license.

Ellen uses a Biblical approach in her counseling and incorporates Scriptures and prayer in the counseling sessions.

Counseling sessions by phone can be scheduled by calling 972-231-0808. Long Distance phone charges, if any, would be added to the counseling fee.

Session Length and Therapy Duration

Counseling sessions are typically 50 minutes in length.

The time frame of counseling can range from a one time meeting to an extended period depending on the counselee’s needs and desires.

Office days are Monday-Thursday. 

Office hours are 8 AM to 5PM.

 

Counseling Fees and Payments

Biblical Counseling and Ministries fees are typically positioned lower than the standard rate for licensed counselors in the area.  Payment is due at the time of the counseling session. 

Cash, check or credit cards are all accepted. A transaction report can be provided by request to be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement.

Many healthcare insurance companies will reimburse a portion of the counseling fee.
